10.00am – WELCOME TO THE CHURCH *
An introduction to The Church - its mission, vision, values, structure and ministries. Spread over five 40 minute sessions, there is plenty of time for discussion in a small-group format. Ideal for those considering membership or just wanting to know more about us.
10.00am – REASON TO BELIEVE 101 *
A basic introduction to the beliefs of The Church. Each session explores a new topic from a range of diverse subjects - such as: Jesus, humanity, the future, our purpose - considering where you are, what we believe, what the Bible says and more. Six 40 minute sessions with time for discussion in a small-group format. Ideal for those who just want Christian basics, want to know more about what we believe, or are actively considering baptism.
4pm – REASON TO BELIEVE 201 and 202 – GOING DEEPER **
Taking some of the themes of RTB 101, and others, this seminar series digs much deeper into the Bible - with particular emphasis on prophecy and doctrines often taken for granted. Two six-part series of 90 minute sessions in presentational format, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions. Ideal for members and those with a Christian foundation who have a passion to learn more.
4pm – EVANGELISM 101 WORKSHOP **
Drawing on published material - such as 'Irresistible Evangelism’, 'Contagious Christianity’, 'Evangelism made slightly less difficult’, 'Mind the Gap’ and others, this workshop series considers the nature of belief in a post-modern and post-Christian environment, and equips believers to spread the Gospel to friends, relatives, work colleagues and others using their own styles and experiences. Six 90 minute sessions with small-group discussion. Ideal for Christians looking for some basic skills or just not sure about how to tell others.
